Again visit this place when snow start to fall, as usual people play outside just to celebrate the coming white appearance in the landscape. Even just throwing snowballs we made it on site, it’s like tradition that incoming day ahead we prepare to be at home. Not because of the weather start to kick, our movement depends on the snow clearing by municipalities, otherwise hide under the warm blanket, that’s the fate.
Rarely this place snowing, but the cold itself already enough to keep us at home, climate changing that push the weather cooler every year. When came first time here, the temperature just around twelve, never go below freezing, that condition already enough to put on the warming machine in bathroom, otherwise the freezing water will kill slowly for sure. That’s already enough to hear the complaint of my flat mate screaming as sometimes anomaly in warming machine.
Whether you like it or not, the changing weather on December and January this time sending our pipeline complaint too. We didn’t realize that rusted in pipe because the desalination didn’t work well, so mixing the warm and cold water didn’t work well. Sometimes too cold or otherwise too hot, then the screaming hear everywhere.
Always love summer
Keep in mind, this is the thing that people flocking to tropical places, the nice weather that keeps our body happy. Even that burn our skin for sure, but it’s big pleasure not to scream in early morning, that’s why we’ll see the pattern of late wake-up for common people who enjoy the summer. Night life seem enjoyable that living under blanket for the whole time, that’s the minus and not all time.
Uniquely in all year this minus weather only around December and January, otherwise very warm, this is the point people stay in this place for so long. Even raising their family here, though the culture not really comfortable but can be tolerated by time staying calmly. Our survival seem just fighting to be comfortable when the temperature start to slightly down.
After this condition settled usually the energy mildly change to comfort our feelings, our mind starts to search for warm food. Slightly sugary and calories more for the fighting the weather, as usual in our place, in our old day that when weather start to fall, usually more foods in our table. Especially for people with less fatty, can’t really bear the falling weather, the only warm food that could cope the threat.
Lovely life
Indeed our fighting for comforting the changing weather, pay off by the life itself, by the peace that come in between daily basis. For family this place really manageable, as our body can accommodate the changing weather, our kids will adapt to easily. The way our body react can be learned to adapting easily, it’s a challenge too, to keep our body fit with our reactions calmly comfort.
Sometimes what’s the concern it’s not from inside but our outside extremely changing that made our life not easy, that’s why when we see as common in policy maker in speaking about climate changing. It’s really bringing our life on threats, though not like the extreme flooding or rarely earthquakes in our place, but merely the same level in contesting our habit. Usually like this than suddenly changing, it’s not easy for our kids.
Zone of comfort can’t be changed drastically, should be manageable or calmly adapting with our daily life. Like what’s you’re like in life, in your inner deep heart for someone would be on the rest of your life.
